Corporate identity for the festival ‘Aufgetischt!’ Buskers St.Gallen.
The aufgetischt festival is a busker event for the whole family and takes place every year in the old city of St.Gallen. Artists from all over the world come together and create a unique magical event.
The whole corporate identity includes Festival Analysis, Corporate Guidelines, Branding, Posters, Festival guide… are made 100% from scratch by me.
For the main design I chose to get inspired by the crowd which gets enchanted by an artist. As I visited the festival I realised that the crowd always builds a kind of half circle around an artist this element was quite interesting to me and I decided to work with it.
The logo combines different elements it is placed on a circle which reflects the crowd element again. The serif font is playful and cheerful the byline in a reduced modern font calms the whole appearance and makes it look modern.
The illustration. To show the crowd I decided to use illustration off different footprints, children, women, men, dogs.. This illustration allowed getting used in so many different ways. I can use them as a pair to show a child staying with his dad or a couple (see postcard application). There are so many ways to use them. The main use of them was to arrange them in a half circle around important content, for example on the poster or the festival guide where they’re arranged around the main message.
Fanzine about the movie Forrest Gump. The task was to design a fanzine that reproduces both the content and the most important scenes of the film. Since I consider the dialogues in the film to be more important than the image material, I decided to implement a purely typographical solution.
The whole design takes place on two levels. The dialogues of the main figure, Forrest, who demonstrates a continuous constancy takes place on the white paper which gets covered over with various external influences, shown on transparent paper.
The whole fanzine is designed in a rotating calendar style. This because the first and the last scene in the movie are so similar that the film makes us believe the whole story starts from new again and goes on and on and on.
Cash for trash is a market for design, fashion and vintage which takes place annually in St.Gallen. The task was to give this event a new face. I addressed the vintage aspect with 1920s charm, which I then reproduced in the form of a “fashion tag” for admission tickets, etc. It should all have a conspicuous, fresh and young appearance.
I decided to also design the main Logo of the event in a 20s style. For that I took a font and changed it until It showed the typical 20s characteristics. The logo takes place on a gold glitter stripe which is placed on a simple brown recycling paper. This contrast shall show the contrast of the name in the design. The glittery cash 20s style and the trash aspect combined to one design.
The task of the international project was to design a poster on the subject “Water is Life”. I chose the heart as the primary design motif, as there is no other symbol which shows live more perfect in the minds of the people. For the water aspect I added a Russian river map which I put above the heart so it looks like veins which transport blood and thus the essential water of life to the heart. After, I just finished the whole poster with a simple font so the whole attention belongs to the illustration.
I wrote and designed a detailed work on the topic of organ donation.
I decided to be inspired by the design of a clinical patient’s file. I took the elements of a patients file for my design because I wanted to show the contrast between the emotional stories which are written down inside and the cold clinical aspect that these stories just disappear in this files.
This design is made to show how less people know and also care about organ donation and just let it vanish in a patients files.
Pure luxury! A dream for every sailor. Yamila, the 13-metre marine yacht. The yacht is very modern with the latest futures but appears in a retro look. With my branding I wanted to support this retro look.
Therefore, I designed a retro font for the logo from scratch. It’s made especially for Yamilla and shall show the retro and modern look combined. As a symbol I decided for a string which shows up as a knot which is a really important element when it comes to shipping. I decided to illustrate the endless knot or also called devils knot, as it shall symbolise an endless shipping over the sometimes devilish see. The branding is the finishing touch for this jewel and completes the appearance perfectly. Over 10 of this luxury, costume, hand made piece are already sold.
A new design for the company Steinlin swiss design. Rustic and modern. Used on cushions, bags and kitchen utensils. The design is made 100% from scratch. Paper cutting is a very old traditional swiss art. I used this style to create something traditional in a modern way. All the elements are putted together carefully to create a little story in one illustration. The design got sold all over the world and was the perfect addition to their existing collection.

Branding for the company Fresol, which creates the optimum freight solutions for every company. The imagery shows two surfaces and an arrow, which become a box or dispatch carton when seen together. This therefore forms the logo, together with the distinctive typography. The logo is created 100% from scratch. To make the whole appear stronger and make it easier to keep it in mind I decided to work with a pattern. This can on a later point also get used as an animation for online applications. The whole branding appears in blue shades. I decided for blue because it’s a very trustworthy colour and it also symbolises the see as the company does a lot over see freights.
Branding for the company DECA Immo. Deca immo is an estate agency which sells single-family houses. Single-family hoses most of the time got three floors. This three floors get showed in the logo as I modified the letter E. To the simple and minimalist logo I added a strong and aggressive colour. Which helps the brand to stay in mind and also attracts attention. This way a for sale sign in a garden of a house gets seen easily by driving past and does some free advertising.
The company is very successful with their new design and made a lot people happy with helping them to find the right home.
For the company steinlin swiss design I was commissioned to create their sales prospect and online store. The company sells swiss luxury furniture and products in a unique design.
For the sales prospect I created a system which makes it easy to find ever single product you’re looking for or get inspired from other products.
Icons which appear in red show if a product is 100% swiss made, hand made or new in the collection.
The design is very clean and reduced so the products get all the attention.
All the product photography and the Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign work for both project are done by me.
Powerful lifestyle pictures support the beautiful products and help people to be in the right mood
while going through the sales prospect or online store and do their shopping. This maximises the success of the company.
This two tools are enormous important for the company and get used every day. They helped a start up to grow to a big company which now does sales all over the world and is without doubt the leader in swiss products.
Branding for the company Sincur, which is specialised in industrial solutions.
The logo includes two elements, the symbol and the font. The symbol combines three elements together to one. The three elements symbolise the company, the problem and the solution. It’s a noticeable icon which is made to stay in mind. On future applications it can also get used as an animated icon for online applications.
The logo appears in green as it is a positive colour and people connect the color to solutions.
